How much education do I need to work at Spirit?
For a number of our entry-level manufacturing and support positions we require a high-school degree or equivalent. For a career in engineering, we require at least a bachelor’s degree.
Do I need to be an aviation or aerospace engineer to work at Spirit?
Negative. We are looking for experienced engineers from all backgrounds and experiences. If you have experience in design, we want to talk with you!

No. Once your profile has been created, it becomes part of our database. You will be automatically notified about current and future opportunities.

You can make changes to your profile at any time. Use your log-in information and make the desired changes.

You should update your profile as frequently as possible to keep it up to date.

What does it mean to work under a bargaining agreement?
A number of our business units are represented by a bargaining group. You will have the option whether or not you would like to join the group, but depending up on the position you take, you will be automatically represented. That simply means that the bargaining group negotiates your bonuses, raises and benefits packages on your behalf.

No. We don’t have on-campus childcare, but if that is a need, we can provide a list of childcare providers for you.
