It allows top students to work alongside leading professionals in their field. We treat our interns as paid, full-time employees, meaning they leave Spirit with real-world work experience and may participate in all of the benefits we offer, including tuition assistance and health and dental insurance.

Could You Be Our Next Intern?
At Spirit AeroSystems, we seek dedicated, quality candidates to fill our highly coveted, highly rewarding internship positions. Ideal candidates possess the following qualifications:
• Are enrolled in a full-time, academic program at an accredited college or university and classified at a minimum of junior standing.
• Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Have a passion to pursue their goals.

Summer Work Plus Summer Fun
We offer our internship program during the summer only, and it lasts from nine to 12 weeks. We recognize that school needs to be a student’s number-one priority, so we may arrange the start and end dates may to fit into a student’s schedule.

Some interns are offered part-time positions at the end of their internship and remain at Spirit while finishing their degrees. Truly exceptional interns may also receive a full-time offer, contingent upon receiving their academic degrees.

The summer isn’t all work and no fun. We encourage interns to take part in a variety of social activities including softball leagues, barbecues and bowling nights, plus cultural events such as concerts and music theater.
